Amazing, I have been looking at it for several minutes and I am still very impressed by all the details. The phoenix looks also very cool and the city gives it a great fantasy setting.

I am curious about the little orb, is there something special about it? Is that his eye that rolled out of it's socket?

Anyway, it turned out great. Challenge accomplished I'd say ;)

I'm glad you like it, it was fun to make. Since the phoenix is newly born I wanted to make it look like a little baby bird.

The orb is in fact a phoenix eye, it is symbolic of its past life, also take into account that the ash pile is shaped like an upside-down bird, a shadow of the creature's former self, now just literally dust in the wind.

You pictured the hurt really well. He must feel allot of pain from the inside.

Looks good again, I like how you made the eyes.

I don't see what's not good at your colouring, it's soft and subtle. It gives it a cute appearance. Or do you mean the shading?

I notice you make allot of your drawings the same way, I am not saying it's bad, absolutely not. But maybe it's an idea to challenge yourself to do something a little different, since you are good at these already.

Yeah, for now I've just been using art as a stress reliever, but I do agree, I should challenge myself more! I guess I am just afraid of failing, but hey, you won't get better unless you fail! Thank you for the advice! <3

Nice work on this one, nostalgia kicked in for me.

I love the colours you used and the blocky lineart.

One question, why is Ivysaur not a bulbasaur, since you did a charmander and squirtle.

Great job on the shading, I love the contrast between light and dark. This painted realistic style is one of my favorites.

i don't want to be recognized as a hentai artist. i just want to be recognized as a good artist in general.
