I love the pose and use of colours

Good illustration, is the pixel style on purpose?

qualinwraith responds:

Yes and no, I'm practicing to emulate comic book colouring styles but the quality of the image uploaded isn't exactly top notch.

Not bad, though studie the muscles of the chest abit more, they look abit our of place

LuwyRock responds:

thank you EmeraldPhoenix!! I will continue studying anatomy. Greetings from Argentina!!

Really cool design, lighting and details. This one definatelly makes a candidate for the prize pool. If not the winner.

The date you posted it does say 10-25 though... not sure if this is timezone based but the deadline was october 24th. But with such a piece I doubt jazza will be so strict about a deadline.

great work!

rezahales responds:

Yeah, I really confused about the time. It's 11AM at Oct 25 when I posted it. I am living in Indonesia. It already late if we use this tine zone. And if I don't get wrong, Jazza lives in Australia, and there 2 hours earlier than Indonesia. And if I don't get wrong again, Newgrounds based in Philadelphia. If we use Philadelphia time, it seems I posted it in last second. :)

Well, I hope I am not too late and my entry still accepted m :D

Thank you so much for appreciating my work!

Looks great, His face reminds me of that pit lord (or whatever) from World of warcraft.
I like the painted look you gave to it

Garanord responds:

Thanks! I always try to achieve a painterly look

Cool design and creative take on the challenge. good use of colours. I bet this piece makes a candidate for the prize pool.

good luck in the challenge

AprilDraws responds:

Thank you so much!!

It looks really good, great poses. I think a stronger light-dark contrast would suit this piece.
The lines look abit wobbly though.

I like the idea of this piece, but if he devours souls every year how can a remote tribe village sustain enough people to keep reproducing?

anyway, good job and good luck in the competition.

Breezief responds:

Thanks for the feedback i will try and improve on my line work.
The idea of the story is the amount of souls he devours are enough to sustain him for a year
i will leave the details of how many souls he needs and how big the village is to the creative imagination of the readers :-)

Thanks again for the feedback

I like this one most of your creatures, because it has some subtle emotion in it. If you can add something like this more often it would add so much more.

Xephio responds:

Thanks. I usually try not to put boundaries around my dailies, the idea is to make them spontaneously and 'in the moment'. however i did enjoy working on this that i might turn it into a full painting somehow

Love the message and you displayed it very well. The colours are great and it looks really powerfull.
Well done!

her eyes are abit off, but appart from that it looks really good
